Where Beads Become Wearable Art
Welcome to Naftali - my new online gallery. I'm Janice Abarbanel, a Massachusetts based bead and jewelry artist working from my home studio.
Here, you'll find a wonderful range of unique, polymer clay focal beads that are ready to be incorporated into your latest designs and transformed into wearable art. My beads may be purchased retail or wholesale to bead designers and bead shops with a valid tax i.d. that meet the minimum order requirement.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature and sometimes nature at a magnified level. From cracks in the road, to bark patterns on trees I'm always observing patterns, textures and color. You'll see my signature crackling technique carried throughout many of my designs. You'll also see some influences of one of my favorite art classes I took at RISD where I learned to observe the world around me as shapes. And when I layer shapes together, new shapes emerge.
